Chiqeeta Jameson Bestselling Author Awarded 2017 Member of the Year for Culver City Chamber of Commerce

There are not many people that walk the walk (and do not just talk the talk) when it comes to serving others.  Chiqeeta Jameson – Sales Coach, Speaker, and #1 Bestselling Author – is a notable exception.  In speaking with Chiqeeta, it is no surprise that she was awarded the 2017 Member of the Year for Culver City Chamber of Commerce.

When asked about the award and what it means to her, Chiqeeta was candid in her response – “it was an absolute honor and a wonderful surprise.”  Chiqeeta joined the Culver City Chamber of Commerce last year with the intention of getting to know people in her community, serving and giving back to her fellow business owners and sales professionals.  A Zig Ziglar quote comes to mind, which after perfectly describes Chiqeeta’s mindset, “You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.”

True to her go-getter attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, 2017 proved to be an impactful year for Chiqeeta.  In addition to writing and publishing her bestselling book, Don’t Sell. Let Them Buy, Master the Sales Conversation and Guide Your Customers To A Successful Outcome Every Time, Chiqeeta served on the Women in Business Committee and joined the Board of Directors for the Culver City Chamber of Commerce. She also facilitated a roundtable meeting entitled How Do You Ensure the Customer Service Provided by Your Employees Leads to a Positive Customer Experience? and presented as a keynote speaker for [the July 2017 Good Morning Culver City! breakfast. Her topic was Are You the Competition?].  In short, Chiqeeta stayed true to her goal of helping small to medium-sized companies better serve their customers.

Although many people have been influential in shaping Chiqeeta’s mindset, she credits her parents for her strong values. In speaking of her recent reward, Chiqeeta quoted her father’s wisdom – “It is not familiarity that breeds contempt, it’s unfamiliarity.” She went on to explain that there are far too many armchair warriors spreading negative energy and not nearly enough role models affecting positive change. As an exemplary member of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce, she works to affect positive change and exemplifies her mother’s belief that “to have a friend, you first have to be a friend.”  As 2017 Member of the Year for the Culver City Chamber of Commerce, Chiqeeta is leading by example in service to her community.
